CDC Says Masks No Longer Required For Vaccinated People AND WE ARE FUCKING PUMPED

The CDC announced yesterday that “Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.”

This is the big news we’ve all been waiting for and it couldn’t be happening at a better time. The weather is getting more summer-like every day, pool season is right around the corner, and drinking outside is actually starting to sound fun again.

I for one am shocked that the CDC made this call so quickly when just a few weeks ago they were releasing the BIG NEWS that vaccinated people can be outside without masks (!!!). I’m assuming they are wanting to convince the last of the vaccine holdouts who are wanting more of an “incentive” to get the vaccine. Pretty much anyone I know who wanted the vaccine got it months ago and we are all ready to put the damn masks away and get back to our normal lives.

So put your masks away (unless you are at work, we may be stuck with masks forever), grab a beer, and get ready to make up for lost time all summer long!
